  • January 1969

    Humble Beginnings

    Our business began back in 1969 when Sharon Battaglino left the Internal Revenue Service to start her own business. She had experience in the field as a tax auditor and started her public accounting career preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Over the years, the business exploded in size to include, write ups, business valuations, IRS and state audit representation, etc. The business was built from referrals of current clients from the very beginning. We have always been a very family oriented, personal level business.

    Over the Years

    After over 20 years of success and growth, Sharon joined forces with her daughter Dionne Battaglino-Trainor, a CPA with a Master of Taxation, and formed Battaglino & Company. Battaglino & Company continued to expand their business to include payroll services, Compilation and Review services, along with many other accounting services. The firm has been honored for outstanding service by Non-profit organizations in the state of New Jersey. The continued growth remained with the referrals of their loyal clients throughout the years.

    Passing the Torch

    50 years have past since Sharon first set out to start this company. It has been a successful and fulfilling career during this time span. Following Sharon’s retirement Battaglino & Company has transitioned into Battaglino Accounting LLC with Dionne Battaglino-Trainor retaining full ownership. We look forward to another successful 50 years working with current and future clients.
